Composer, Producer, Arranger, Keyboardist/Pianist, Trombonist
Koch Music Productions is the home of the composer/producer Geoff Koch.
Composer and producer of original music for nationally- and internationally-broadcast television shows, films, commercials, jingles, planetarium shows, station image promos, corporate/industrial works, songs and other media. Geoff’s music has been used in everything from Saturday Night Live to the National Geographic Channel to feature films to planetariums around the world. On every project he brings over two decades of experience delivering exactly the music each client wants, on time and on budget. Equally adept at making music with traditional pen and manuscript paper as with the latest electronic virtual instruments, or any combination, he commands a thorough understanding of the relationship between music and picture. Clients come back for his consistent ability to deliver music they love.
He earned his Bachelor of Music between Oberlin Conservatory’s TIMARA program, and Belmont University’s commercial music program. He was featured in Keyboard Magazine in 1996 and had his first choral piece accepted for publication when he was just 20. Upon graduating college, he was tapped to serve as pianist for Grand Ole Opry star, Lorrie Morgan, for her “Christmas In London” national tour. He has also served as pianist/keyboardist for The Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Kadillacs, Restless Heart, and most recently, 2009 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, Little Anthony and The Imperials. He is the recipient of the prestigious 2015 Curtain Call Award as well as numerous other broadcast and industry awards. He serves as the current president of the Nashville Composers Association, and also serves on the board of Film-Com, the world’s largest completion and distribution market for film and TV.
Koch Music Productions is located on Nashville’s “Music Row”.
